PGP Institute of Allied Health Sciences organised a Road Safety Awareness Programme on 25 August 2026. The programme promoted responsible road behaviour and stressed the importance of traffic discipline among students and staff.
Mr. Sankarapandian, Inspector of Police, Paramathi, was the Chief Guest. He spoke on road safety and traffic regulations and on safe travelling practices. He also warned students about online fraud and OTP-related scams, and advised them on fake links and safe use of social media.
Dr. V. Nagasinduja, Principal, presided over the programme. The Correspondent and the Dean were also present, and their presence encouraged and motivated the students.
The programme reminded everyone that road safety awareness prevents accidents, protects lives and builds responsible citizens. It also showed the institution’s commitment to safety and social responsibility among the younger generation.
