On the occasion of World Environment Day, observed on 5th June 2026, an Industrial Visit was organized to the Re Sustainability Biomedical Waste Management Plant, Thangayur Village, for students of all four departments across all three batches. A total of 93 students participated in the visit and gained valuable insights into the collection, segregation, transportation, treatment, and disposal of biomedical waste. The visit created awareness about environmental sustainability, infection control, public health, and the critical role of proper biomedical waste management in safeguarding communities and ecosystems. The program provided a practical learning experience and enhanced students' understanding of sustainable healthcare practices and environmental responsibility.
