Drug Abuse Awareness Program
The PGP Institute of Allied Health Sciences successfully conducted a Drug Abuse Awareness Program on 07 July 2025 at TNPL Matric Higher Secondary School with the objective of educating school students and youth on the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse.
The awareness initiative was led by the institution’s First-Year Allied Health Sciences students, accompanied by two faculty members, with a total participation of 21 students from the college.
The program focused on creating awareness about the dangers of drug dependency, peer pressure, addiction-related health complications, and the importance of making informed lifestyle choices.
Interactive sessions, awareness talks, and student engagement activities were conducted to encourage young minds to adopt healthy habits and stay away from substance abuse.
The program received an encouraging response from the school management, teachers, and students, reflecting the importance of continuous awareness initiatives in building a healthier and drug-free society.
