Onam Celebration 2026 – A Festive Celebration of Tradition, Joy and Togetherness PGP Educational Institutions celebrated the spirit of Onam with great enthusiasm and festive fervour on 1 September 2026, bringing together students and staff in a vibrant celebration of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The celebrations featured a variety of traditional games and fun-filled activities for students and staff, creating an atmosphere of joy, camaraderie and healthy competition. The much-anticipated Tug of War witnessed tremendous enthusiasm, with the Allied Boys Team emerging victorious. The cultural celebrations added colour and grandeur to the occasion, featuring a beautiful traditional Onam dance, energetic Chenda Melam (Janda Melam) and captivating performances that reflected the richness of Kerala’s traditions. A special highlight of the celebration was the appearance of Mahabali Chakravarthi, beautifully portraying the legendary king associated with the spirit and message of Onam. The celebration also showcased the festive spirit through traditional attire, cultural expressions and the beautiful essence of unity, prosperity and togetherness. The vibrant celebrations created cherished memories for everyone and strengthened the spirit of community among the PGP family.
