Road Safety Awareness Programme PGP Educational Institutions organised a Road Safety Awareness Programme to promote responsible road behaviour and create awareness among students and staff about the importance of following traffic rules and adopting safe driving practices. The programme focused on essential road safety measures, including the proper use of helmets and seat belts, adherence to traffic regulations, avoiding mobile phone usage while driving, and responsible behaviour as road users. The programme was graced by Mr. C.R. Rajesh Kannan, District Liaison Officer, Namakkal, and Mr. E.S. Murugesan, Regional Transport Officer, Namakkal (North). Mr. Narasimma Mani, Safety Trainer, Madurai, conducted an informative and engaging session, highlighting the importance of road safety, traffic discipline and responsible citizenship. The programme served as a meaningful initiative to instil road safety awareness, discipline and a sense of responsibility among students and staff, contributing towards the vision of safer roads and responsible citizens.
